Time To Slay A Mabinogi Dragon!

This is my Oak Broom, his name is Oakbroom :D

Every so often you come across a game that's just flat out horrible,

one that will make you throw your computer out the second story window of your house, or brake in the walls, or other things shown on those GameFly commercials...

Then there are games like Mabinogi:

I have been playing video games since I was 5. In all those years there has never been such an amazing game as this. Mabinogi is with out a doubt the BEST rpg I have ever played, and I doubt I will find a game any better.

This game has got better customization options then any other game out there. If The World from the popular .//hack series was ever realised as an MMO Mabinogi would stand as a game that even it couldn't match.

The combat system is an incredible, realistic, real-time battle style with almost infinite amounts of strategies and combinations, and the anime based game style keeps your eyes glued to the screen as well as provides occasional laughs.

I have never seen such a *gulp* p-perfect game....
Mabinogi gets a 10 out of 10
(5 out of 5)
P.S:
Before the game loads if you get a pop-up saying something about the graphics card not being correct, it doesn't really matter you can play normally with no problems except the graphics are a bit more spastic, it's really HARDLY noticeable if you have a decent card...

The Most Amazing...and Annoying Game I've played

Holy Beast Online, is an extremely fun, and wonderful MMO where you have the ability to shape shift from Human to Animal at will. There are multiple animal clans to choose from including...yes...a Dragon.

You may have noticed that I have no screens of the game.

Due to the way you must log in and load the game, it will continually have irritating issues loading up. The most common is when you turn your computer off the game will dump all of it's BGM, and Appearance data, forcing you to re-download it the next time you start the game. (Depending on the speed of your Internet Provider this could take several minutes, usually about an hour) Also, if you move the game from its original location by any means, the game will not acknowledge the installation, forcing you to uninstall and reinstall the game (the repair option will NOT work).

If you're the type that can stand all of this and still play the game, it is simply amazing game! Graphics, music, battles whole nine yards are near perfection.

Unfortunately, the game has to many problems for it to get away with anything more then a 5 out of 10 (2.5 out of 5)

OMG! It's zOMG!

Having a Gaia Account myself, I got into the zOMG! beta tests. (closed and open). zOMG! has a unique combat system revolving around combat rings. Not to mention a unique style of leveling I have never before seen in a MMO, where the weapons level instead of the character, and your only as strong as your best rings. The community...well It's Gaia, they have one of the best communities around which definitely helps the mood of this game.

The monsters are really funny. They don't have the "too cute to kill" look but you might get an odd feeling after slicing a Lawn Gnome in half with one of your sword rings.

The only major problem is the LAG!!!
zOMG! lags a TON, there are ways to reduce it, but even with them there is still a lag issue with the game. If this gets fixed though zOMG! could quickly become an amazing MMOrpg.
Here's a nice 8.0 out of 10 (4 out of 5) for ya from Lord-MMO a (fairly) active zOMG! player

A not-so-popular popular classic

Rival Saga is a browser based RPG that I believe to be an MMO; the main site: http://www.rivalsaga.com has a population counter for how many people are online at the time, but I've yet to see it go over 2000 which is also probably why I've yet to see other people...
The battle systems are turn based but the graphics are surprisingly good for any browser-based game I've ever seen. The effects of your skills, although not as good as any downloaded MMO are still pretty well made and fun to watch.

It makes little difference rather I was mislead about this being an MMOrpg or not, Rival Saga is a game I think any medieval fantasy fan would enjoy, and if they have time to kill I say go check it out.
5.5 out of 10 (2.5 out of 5)

Fly For Fun, because everything else is down right boring...

Let me just come right out and say the only thing this game really has going for it is it's graphics and great music.
Besides that it's really nothing special...
Everything in the game may look really expensive, but you gain money relatively quick, also if you stick to the quests your given at your levels the monsters are a joke, Quick and easy kills no matter what road you take which doesn't really help much considering most quests require you to hunt monsters for special quests items that are hardly ever dropped.
Not only that but you'll hardly ever need the loads of food you pick up from them. Come level 20 you have enough food to feed a small village right inside your backpack.

Teleporting to the nearest town takes so long that your better off just walking or flying...

The end result is a 4.5 out of 10
(2 out of 5)

Take one part dragon theme and mix well with 3D Maple Story

What an amazing game!
There are things you will love and hate about Dragonica for starters, it uses the classic combat style originally made for Maple Story, also in terms of weapons and armor it's pretty limited. There are only a few classes, and although the level cap is up in the hundreds, you can become your max level job at level 40.
The graphics are really a matter of opinion with this game, depending if you like the animish-cartoon style in RPG games.

Just like my latest score in the level 5 mission map I give this game a B
(Call that a 8.6 out of 10 or a 3.2 out of 5)

One more thing I should mention about this game is that it has been re-made by at least three different RPG sites. For the best and most accurate game experience, I recommend the original version on http://dragonica.iahgames.com
I'm currently playing the THQice version and I gotta say the story lines have been severely chopped up, like it was hard-translated from Japanese

Luna the Prettiest Moon You'll Ever See.

The monsters not only ignore you, but they go so far as to have thier own conversations
>_>

Luna Online, like the title says is, one of the most adorable games I've probably ever played. Rather your playing as a cute chibi elf girl, or a less then masculine boy Luna is a game that will keep you hooked for a long long time.
One of the things I like most is the freedom of customization. Any class can use any weapon at any time (as long as you meat the level requirements for said weapon), on top of that a class can use not only armor set for that class, but any armor lower then that. For example a Warrior can not only use Heavy armor, but also Light leather armor and robes. Unfortunately mages are limited to only robes because of this, but I think having a mage with a 2handed sword more then compromises as far as looks and sheer awesomeness is concerned.
The npcs are also all as cute as can be, they show different facial expressions based on what there talking about which is a pretty cool feature.
I give this game an easy 9.6 out of 10 (4.8 out of 5)
This game will be a fun time to anyone...as long as the total overkill cute doesn't get to you first...

Guild Wars bites the dust...

At it's peak Guild Wars was one of the best online games I had ever come across to date. It's stunning graphics and easily enjoyable Role Play stories as well as PvP story plot and arenas made it a game that topped even World of Warcraft.

Notice of course that I said "At it's peak," and "was." Do to constant interference from Anet the team responsible for Guild Wars' function, as well as the mass production of builds via a PvX Wiki website, the game has taken a dramatic turn for the worst.

Guild Wars' skills are constantly being "Improved" (oh please) twisting and perverting them from their original genius, into skills that make you question why they were ever made in the first place. A skill that once did additional damage to an enchanted target would now do little more then cause that target to bleed and become crippled (even if they aren't enchanted). And skills that were once used for "back up protection" or "makeshift healing" have become full scale healing and protection abilities. Unique builds that showed off ones creativity and genius are a thing of the past with everyone using the same build as everyone else.

Will the realise of GW2 save Guild Wars? I do not think so. With the level cap rased from 20 to somthing much higher Guilld Wars will loose it's entire theme of Stratagy and Teamwork. Also by adding jumping, races, and the rumor of mounts coming in, GW2 might verry well become a Free 2 Play World of Warcraft...Who knows...maybe Arena Net will come to their sences and change the skill back, and maybe orgionality can shine on this game once more...
May Guild Wars R.I.P with a 7 out of 10 score

It's Time For a FIESTA!

First off let me say what an absolutely beautiful game! The graphics are stunning and the music is fast paced and catchy. (One of their themes ended up on a commercial for "Tyler Parry's House of Payne") I loved watching the skills activate, the whole game has wonderfully captivating colors and sound.

The game does however have a few drawbacks. For starters unless you buy a beauty kit off of the website (costs REAL money) your character is stuck with limited faces and blue hair. Also in terms of races they're decided in a pretty stereotypical way. If you choose Fighter or Priest you'll be human, and if you choose ranger or mage you'll be Elven.

Most of the monsters have an "Almost to cute to kill" aura about them which I've only seen in a rare selection of games. They've even gone so far as to give some of the monsters captions that show them asking for mercy which, if it doesn't give you a total guilt trip, will give you a sick kick or two.

Above all my favorite part of Fiesta are the level restricted Kingdom Quests. KQs put you with a large group of other players all around you level (normally resulting in about 3-5 parties per quest) and require you to finish a challenging task within the time limit. Most of these are extremely fun, but are near impossible to do without at least 2 Clerics to protect against the hard hitting bosses.

With a 4.8 out of 5 (9.7 out of 10) I recomend Fiesta to anyone. It's a great game with lots of fun ways to keep you hooked.

Keep up the good work Outspark!

Another World? Maybe Not...

I went inside AW Planet today if you thought Runescape was bad, you should try it's Doppelganger some time.

Access your banks and stores the easy way with AWplanets Unique npc conversations!

The best way I can describe it is this: Runescape Classic with Runescape Low Detail graphics

My "Stat Booster" *cough* Prayer *cough* as well as combat style.

Some of these stats look...oddly familiar...
I also love how these guys have a membership option that costs monthly payments...gets you all sorts of bonus goodies.
It's kinda hard to fish for shrimp when your net's hovering above your head...
Gotta love that Classic Fighting style...
In the long run this really isn't worth your time, your better off playing runescape itself...especially if you speak English because there's not an English speaker to be found on the chats...Who knows...maybe someone's home region was denied access to runescape so he/she made their own version...
This gets a big fat O from your pall MMO

Let's start with one were all familiar with:

Runescape: Most people are in the dark about this game because they stop playing it. I myself have stuck with the game for a while now and I must say, it really has come up from the piece of trash it use to be.

A Runescape Classic screenshot

I'll admit it's not "Elder Scroll Oblivion" good graphic wise, there's also the fact that free to play has only 1/80 of the things that members have.

The groups behind runescape will try and convince you the Free play is not a demo but a game all its own. Free play does have it's own unique quests that the member quests reflect off of (and in most cases require you to do) but don't let that fool you it really is just a demo compared to what you can really get for $5 a month (recently the price rose to 6-something a month for all those who aren't already members.)

But I'm not about to talk to heavily down on what really is a fun game behind the smoke and mirrors of the pay to play option.

Out of 5 stars I would give it about 3.5

(6.5 out of 10)
