Zero is an Understatement...

Fantasy Earth Zero is a War based MMO game, where hordes of players duke it out in massive wars between 5 nations for control over the continents in the region, or to be more realistic - over the one continent in the middle, as the wars never go any farther than that...

The game is centered around PvP. The only PvE in this game are the very FEW quests in each nations capital which are all the same quest done in a different way based on how your nation works. The other is fighting monsters whose sole purpose is to give you money and supplies for - yep you guessed it, the wars...

This game is in no way balanced and is in every since of the word, broken.
There is a combat triangle but don't let that fool you into thinking that if you're one side then the side you're strong against has no chance against you and will run in fear. This combat triangle is about as accurate as Runescapes. (Which if any of you pay attention to the PvP, is not accurate at all...)

Don't bother making a scout cause the warrior to mage ratio is about 100:1. Not to mention warriors cause conditions, and have AoE and Range attacks so they pretty much play the role of all three of the classes in this game. This whole game was made to favor warriors while the other classes were left for the slaughter.

I Could give this game a 0 but that would just be cruel...
This game gets a very merciful 2.5 out of 10 (1.5 out of 5)

Grab your 20 Sided dice and you...Mouse Pad?

Imagine my surprise one fine day as I'm searching around for more MMOs to tell everyone about. When I see an advertisement for this guy. Dungeons and Dragons Online! That's right you heard it hear folks. DnD comes to your PC (or MAC)

No need to buy dice! All are
included in this
special package! :D

The graphics are actually quite stunning, and everything is in real time. The combat, the dungeons, heck you even get to choose when your character takes a swing at the slimy little fish person that's attacking you.

Most dungeons look like this. A rundown storage area with lots of fun little things for you to brake along with a couple hundred enemies. Besides this, there are also crypts, sewers, and a few out in the open Base Assault and "Defend Your Castle" maps. Most of the pvp happens in the forms of friendly jousts and Bar Brawls at the Inns.

One last thing I'd like to point out is that this is one of the few games I've come across that is actually 100% F2P just like the game gloats about. You CAN purchase Turbine Coins for fun stuff in the online shops but here's the cool part. You can actually EARN FREE Turbine Coins in game, by completing special advanced dungeons, partaking in events, and they even give you some free when you gain a level every so often.

There's so much more stuff crammed into this game, it would take at least a month of typing to fill you in on the whole thing. So why don't you go try out this amazing game experience for yourself!

Lord MMO's giving this game a well deserved 9 out of 10 (4.5 out of 5)
ENJOY!

Is Dofus Only For . . . Idiots?

Contrasting to the title, Dofus Online is actually relatively good. There are lots of servers including the legendary Heroic Server were everyone plays for keeps. (Server is definitely NOT recommended for beginners) and many of the servers are for a specific language so most of the time you don't have to worry about not being able to communicate with your teammates. Assuming you play in a party which is actually recommended because the monsters sure as heck do. Another cool thing is the variety of classes, each with it's own strengths and weaknesses along with greatly varying appearances, which you can later alter with colors and equipment to make a character that is truly 100% all your own.
Bet You Can't Find Me!!!

There is still one MAJOR problem with this game. Sadly Dofus Online is in now way a F2P game. There are two relitivly large areas for free play (The starting tutorial area and the first village you go to) however all the other areas outside that requires a monthly membership fee, similar to Runescape, however unlike Runescape for all intents and purposes the free area is pretty much a Demo that gets pretty boring after level 20+.

As a free player I have to give this game a 4 out of 10 (1 out of 5)

However if I Was playing with the membership this game would get a much higher rating.

The True Secret of The Solstice

Secret of the Solstice is a game by the same makers of one of my personal favorites Fiesta. The game has some obvious differences but all in all it's not really that bad

First thing I would like to point out, is that this game is almost completly Identical to Ragnorak Online, even the hotkeys are EXACTLY the same.

Make no mistake even with the similarities, SotS is a game all its own.

The battle system is the steriotypical you hit he hits combat style, with the occasional skill thrown in there to give you the edge, and when your playing as a rouge based class, an edge can be your's really quick.

In advance, if you plan on being a mage, you're much better off in a party (but I guess that's obvious) Mages, in this game are amazing at a distance, but unless you have somone in your party to take your hits, you wont be long range for very long...

One more thing, this game involves quests that require you to do quite alot of killing, you may find yourself getting bored from time to time because of the large amounts of farming.

That being said, this game gets a 6.5 out of 10 (2 out of 5)

The Grand Fantasia

Grand Fantasia is a nifty little MMORPG staring you and your in game companions known as sprites. Most of the game revolves around you leveling up as well keeping your sprites happy, which could mean spending 45silver on a sprite soda thingie...
The mage spells are amazing to look at, and any class that falls under the archer branch can duel wield. (But since the Archer itself doesnt have any melee skills it's not a good idea)
One of my personal favorites about this game is the necromancer, this is one of the few games that alows you to raise the dead. Which I personaly enjoy.
This game gets a 7 out of 10 (3 out of 5)

Time To Slay A Mabinogi Dragon!

This is my Oak Broom, his name is Oakbroom :D

Every so often you come across a game that's just flat out horrible,

one that will make you throw your computer out the second story window of your house, or brake in the walls, or other things shown on those GameFly commercials...

Then there are games like Mabinogi:

I have been playing video games since I was 5. In all those years there has never been such an amazing game as this. Mabinogi is with out a doubt the BEST rpg I have ever played, and I doubt I will find a game any better.

This game has got better customization options then any other game out there. If The World from the popular .//hack series was ever realised as an MMO Mabinogi would stand as a game that even it couldn't match.

The combat system is an incredible, realistic, real-time battle style with almost infinite amounts of strategies and combinations, and the anime based game style keeps your eyes glued to the screen as well as provides occasional laughs.

I have never seen such a *gulp* p-perfect game....
Mabinogi gets a 10 out of 10
(5 out of 5)
P.S:
Before the game loads if you get a pop-up saying something about the graphics card not being correct, it doesn't really matter you can play normally with no problems except the graphics are a bit more spastic, it's really HARDLY noticeable if you have a decent card...

The Most Amazing...and Annoying Game I've played

Holy Beast Online, is an extremely fun, and wonderful MMO where you have the ability to shape shift from Human to Animal at will. There are multiple animal clans to choose from including...yes...a Dragon.

You may have noticed that I have no screens of the game.

Due to the way you must log in and load the game, it will continually have irritating issues loading up. The most common is when you turn your computer off the game will dump all of it's BGM, and Appearance data, forcing you to re-download it the next time you start the game. (Depending on the speed of your Internet Provider this could take several minutes, usually about an hour) Also, if you move the game from its original location by any means, the game will not acknowledge the installation, forcing you to uninstall and reinstall the game (the repair option will NOT work).

If you're the type that can stand all of this and still play the game, it is simply amazing game! Graphics, music, battles whole nine yards are near perfection.

Unfortunately, the game has to many problems for it to get away with anything more then a 5 out of 10 (2.5 out of 5)
