4S League....It's 4S Right?

Since were on the topic of epic 3D Shooters I have no talent for, I thought I'd bring this one up. This is S4 League, the closest thing I've ever seen to "Rave warfare." The techno-steam punk graphics and environments keep you hooked and happy while the 1 hit kill sniper weapons and stun lock 2 hit kill melee weapons keep you endlessly frustrated. This is one of the few games were I could go on and on about how many good things there are, and have one bad thing for every good thing I mention.

The music is great, each map has 1 of the roughly 5 or so fast-paced steam punk songs available on the game. The games themselves are actually quite entertaining, possessing unique styles of game play I don't think any other shooter will EVER be able to match, and like in my previous post Gunz, your character has access to awesome tricks and abilities, only difference being is that in this game they look more like dance moves, whether it's doing a back flip off the wall or doing an electric slide to avoid gun fire.

On top of weapons and clothes you also have a wide variety of skills to choose from.

To those of you who have already read this review I'd like to point out that the glitch mentioned before has been resolved. However, S4 has recently become the victim of a good number of hackers, these sore loosers range from people who hack because it's hard to tell if they are or not, to people who hack from the soul purpose of letting everyone know. "Hey I'm techno savi enough to get around this game's hack shield and get weapons and outfits not available in this version of the game, or freakish abilities like being able to instantly teleport to anywhere on the map. (You can imagine how annoying this is in a Touch Down match)

It's now the hackers that have knocked the score down a little, but I'm going to increase the rating to an 8 out of 10

p.s. The hackers are being dealt with by the people who run the game, though only one at a time, they're a dieing breed here unlike some other games I won't mention...yet.

Gunz - The Difficult

Gunz - The Duel, is an amazing 3D 3rd person shooter that also has a touch of 3d sword fighter. Unlike most shooter games that involve melee, the difference between the two is quite obvious, yet amazingly balanced. So much so that pros will continually swap between melee and range in the middle of a fight jumping in for a slash or stab then jumping back and gunning just as quick.

The game is basically "Devil May Cry" + "The Matrix" The fast paced shooting and sword slashing is complimented well by your ability to run up and along walls, dive from and behind cover, and even reload on the go. It's even possible to reload during any of those tricks which makes them great for getting out of a quick jam and quickly getting back into the fight.

Gunz's biggest draw back is how long it takes to get the hang of the literally constant flow of combat. This is by no means your average shooter, this game is only recommended to those with the quickest and sharpest of reflexes.
But to those that fit that category, you'll be happy to learn that Gunz - The Duel scores a 7 out of 10
